We Don't Have to Figure Parenting Out On Your Own
Here are some of the main things that hurt families when having children:
1) Lack of dialogue around family planning
More emphasis on procreation than planning and prep for the milestone itself.
2) Unrealistic expectations around finances
Lack of in-depth conversations around the shift in financial obligations that come with family expansion
3) Unprocessed family trauma
Challenges in navigating what becoming a parent brings up for us mentally and emotionally
Studies show that 67% of couples report significant decline in relationship satisfaction after the birth of their firstborn. A fifth of couples break up in their first year and this number multiplies after every birth. It doesn't have to be this way.
A growing family can deepen a loving relationship instead of breaking us apart. Let's re-imagine life with our future kids.
Our Three-Pronged Approach to Elevate your Family Planning Journey includes the following steps:
Assess
We start by identifying challenges in family planning like fertility, communication, and past trauma.
Dialogue
Next, we discuss strategies to address barriers in becoming new parents like financial planning, identifying social/familial supports and maintaining a healthy relationship in family transition.

Commit
We engage in intentional mental and emotional work through Inner Child Work, Attachment & Culture Assessments, and processing Family Trauma to help you have the most intentional and loving family.

A Little About Me
In 2020, I made the intentional pivot to focus my practice on supporting new and expecting parents. I had begun to receive referrals for moms experiencing postpartum depression related to significant birth trauma. I realized that as a whole, our country does not support expectant families, and this became the focus of my work. Through my work as a birth/postpartum doula, wellness coach and therapist, I am able to offer a myriad of services to families in need. I believe that in order to break generational patterns, heal from unprocessed trauma, and be impactful patterns, the work starts from within. Thank you for trusting me to support you and your growing family. Together, we can become the most effective, nurturing, and emotionally aware parents to our future kids.
